Meet Doron

Doron Har-Paz– Occupational Therapist

Doron obtained her Occupational Therapy training and qualifications in Israel, graduating in 2015. Her early work experiences included adult mental health and rehabilitation before moving to Aotearoa NZ to work in community rehabilitation, helping people of all ages, including youth and their families, in both ACC and private settings.

Doron enjoys staying active with her clients, using activities like play, nature, and movement to make therapy meaningful. She's particularly interested in sensory processing, trauma-informed care, attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, and body-based work.

In addition to her occupational therapy training, Doron has completed various certifications and courses, such as a postgraduate certificate in occupational therapy from Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin. She's also trained in Somatic Ecotherapy, completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training, attended an advanced sensory modulation seminar on the BrainWorks approach, and more.

Doron loves spending time with her partner and their three-and-a-half-year-old daughter outside of work. She enjoys hiking, dancing, cooking, practising yoga, and playing guitar.
