Meet Becs
Rebecca Walton – Health Psychologist
Becs has joined the Nurture and Thrive team as a Health Psychologist, having completed her degree at Victoria University. She’s passionate about working in this area and brings a wealth of experience, having worked in health and disability community organisations for many years. Becs has two daughters, both of whom have ADHD, and one has Autism. Becs has a fun-loving, compassionate nature and is keen to work alongside individuals and whānau to help them achieve health and well-being goals.
“I love working from an approach that combines both psychology and health-related
strategies to build well-being. I believe there is a lot of scope to work more holistically in this space”.
Outside of N&T, Becs loves mountain biking, hiking, and walking her 3 dogs. She’s up for adventure and enters regularly into adventure races. She loves being outdoors and
connecting with nature. She also enjoys yoga and swimming in the ocean (if it’s not too
cold!).
